ABOUT

I am an artist and illustrator based out of the Northern Virginia area. My passion for art traces back to 2003 as a young girl, when my mother reports I had already begun filling in full coloring pages perfectly within the lines at the age of 3. Whether drawing a "mural" on the wall of our rental beach house in Sharpie (sorry mom), or drawing on napkins at every restaurant we ever ate at, I've been on the artistic path since the start.

While journeying that path, I discovered another passion along the way; a role in the veterinary field, helping others by providing genuine, quality care for their pets. The combination of these two passions led to my love for creating custom pet portrait art.

When I'm not teaching art or painting portraits, you'll find me in the mountains on a hike, camping, or on some other form of outdoor adventure. The beauty I experience on these various adventures is the fuel that inspires the majority of my other works. I find great inspiration in the Lord's creation; whether it be through our furry companions, the colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains, or through the hearts of the people I encounter throughout this journey. My ultimate goal as an artist is for my artwork to touch hearts, reminding them that they too, like art, have been beautifully created for a purpose.
