THE PROCESS
On one of the most special days of your life, you'll never want to forget the feeling of the most perfect moments. Dreaming of immortalizing the magic of your first kiss? What about that surreal feeling of walking down the aisle, finally announced as Mr. & Mrs.? Or the intimacy of your first dance, a special moment looked on and adored by family and friends?
Whatever your unique vision, I'd be honored to bring your special moment to life on canvas, carefully capturing every detail through a seamless, live event experience.
On your big day, I arrive a few hours prior to your ceremony to begin the background. This includes setting the scene with soft sketches of venue composition, mixing colors to capture the real-life ambiance of the day, and photographing key features of the ceremony/reception. (Photos will allow me to revisit all the fine details after the original moment has passed)
Upon their arrival, guests will have the chance to engage with the artistic process beginning to unfold in front of them. This window of time serves as the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the artist, and ask any introductory questions as they mingle and make their way to their seats.
Live painting will continue throughout the ceremony and reception. Your vision will gradually be brought to life while chatting with intrigued guests. By the end of the night, guests will have been able to observe the progress throughout the night. Your painting will then be taken back to the studio for a few weeks of intricate refinement and final details. The entire on-site painting process takes 5-7 hours.

Q: Can you still paint my big day if my wedding has passed, or if you are already booked for my wedding date?
A: Absolutely! This is a great alternative to commemorate your day, and I always encourage this if I’m not available to be there live, or if your special day has already become a memory. This is a fantastic option for an anniversary, birthday, or Christmas gift for your lover! I would be honored to create a commissioned painting for you. You can send me your favorite photos from your day, and together, we can collaborate on a vision to bring new, artistic life into your favorite romantic moment.
Q: What type of paints do you use?
A: I use high-quality acrylic paints on a heavy duty, gallery-wrapped canvas.
Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! I would love to travel to be a part of your special day! I will travel across the U.S. and some foreign countries, but please note there will be additional travel costs added to the total of your package to cover the according gas/mileage, hotel fees, and flights.
Q: Will you finish my painting on-site?
A: By the end of your wedding, you will see a mostly completed painting! At the end of your wedding night, I will bring the painting back to my studio to fine tune and add all the intricate details, followed by having it safely shipped or delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding date.

YOUR INVESTMENT INCLUDES
- A fully customized and personally tailored heirloom wedding portrait
- 5-7 hours of on-site painting/entertainment
- The cost to drive up to 100 miles roundtrip from my home (located in Page Valley, VA)
- Free shipping/delivery within 6 weeks after the wedding
VARIABLE FACTORS INCLUDE
- Desired canvas size
- Location of your venue (if outside of 50mi radius)
- Complexity of your desired details (examples include: architecturally heavy backgrounds, inclusion of additional loved ones, inclusion of your pet, etc.)
A 25% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your date, as well as a signed contract. The remaining balance is not due until 3 weeks before the wedding.

Once I receive your inquiry and confirm that I am available for your date, I will send you a contract and booking invoice. A signed contract and completed deposit payment will secure your date on my calendar. After that comes the fun part: talking out all the fun wedding details! We will discuss the moment you want painted, your color palette, your itinerary for the day, and much more to bring your dream painting to life.
