I offer private, in-home art lessons for individuals and groups of all ages, providing a personalized and engaging learning experience tailored to each student.
With years of teaching experience in both in-home and studio settings, I’ve had the privilege of guiding young artists in developing strong foundational skills while encouraging their creativity and confidence. I am also currently teaching group classes through Jewell Tone Music & Art in Culpeper, where I continue to work with students in a collaborative classroom environment.

My in-home lessons are fully customized to fit each student’s unique interests and goals. Whether your child wants to learn realistic drawing, painting techniques, or explore new mediums, I create a curriculum designed specifically for them. For example, I’ve worked with students who wanted to focus on portraiture, breaking down facial features week by week and helping them build both technical skill and artistic understanding—resulting in noticeable growth in a short time.
I have experience teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels. Younger students are introduced to foundational concepts like color theory, mixing, and creative exploration, while older students can develop more advanced techniques through observational drawing and painting.
In addition to traditional fine art, I also have a background in fiber arts, including teaching needle felting with alpaca fibers through classes and workshops.
